The invendoscopy™ System

Easy-to-use »No-touch/no-push« Technique

With the "no-touch/no-push" invendoscope™ SC20 the physician simply drives according to the lumen on the monitor and follows the anatomy of the colon. The colonoscope is steered manipulating the joystick of the handheld device, which deflects the endoscope tip electro-hydraulically 180° in any direction – even inversions in the rectum are possible.

The forward and backward drive mode for the invendoscope™ SC20 is activated using push buttons on the handheld – if not pressed, the endoscope automatically stops. Therefore the physician always controls the invendoscope™ SC20.

Quick & Convenient Handling

Before beginning the procedure the drive connector of the invendoscope™ SC20 is locked into the driving unit and its plug is connected to the basic supply unit. A fully automated system check, including leakage test, is completed within a few minutes. The procedure can then begin. After the end of the colonoscopy, the endoscope is automatically disconnected. This ensures a quick exchange of colonoscopes between examinations.

Caution: Investigational Device. Limited by U.S. federal law to investigational use. The invendoscopy™ System is not available for sale in the United States. Only for clinical investigational use and exhibition purposes.
