The invendoscopy™ System

Innovative Technology

invendo medical has incorporated various technologies, which in combination make a high quality, but simplified colonoscopy possible:

  • The invendoscope™ SC20 is not manually pushed or pulled, but driven in and out of the colon by the examiner with the support of an endoscope driving unit.
  • An inexpensive, but high-resolution CMOS chip with three light-emitting diodes ensures a good image quality.
  • By manipulating the joystick on the handheld control unit the endoscope tip is deflected in the appropriate direction, while two push-buttons allow to drive either forwards or backwards – the user therefore navigates the endoscope comfortably along the anatomy of the colon.
  • The inverted sleeve technology in combination with the small bending diameter reduces the forces on the colon walls.
  • All endoscopic and software functions are performed solely by using the handheld control unit, so that the examiner can perform the colonoscopy sitting, standing or in whatever other convenient position he or she prefers.

Screening and Therapeutic Colonoscopy

The invendoscope™ SC20 is not only an ideal instrument for screening colonoscopy, but due to its 3.1mm working channel can be also used for routine therapeutic procedures such as polypectomy. The centralized working channel with the support of the deflectable electrohydraulic tip allows access to all locations in the colon.

Caution: Investigational Device. Limited by U.S. federal law to investigational use. The invendoscopy™ System is not available for sale in the United States. Only for clinical investigational use and exhibition purposes.
