We are a growing medical device company with its technology base in Germany and commercial operations in New York. Our focus is on the development of single-use and patient-friendly endoscopes for gastroenterological applications. To support our team we are looking for the
VP Strategic Marketing (m/f)
Key responsibilities are:
- Prioritize accessible market segments short (12 months) and mid-term (3 years)
- Establish quantitative value propositions for chosen segments, including pricing strategies
- Devise company policies to optimize market/customer receptivity even when addressing competing segments
- U.S. reimbursement strategy, (e.g. optimization of reimbursement in certain segments; new claims etc.)
- Monitor the wider GI market in terms of existing competition, potential new entrants, diagnostic trends and possible partners
- Develop and nurture cooperation with health insurance companies
- Manage relationships with members of the medical board, develop new relationships for the board or on an individual basis
- Design and manage clinical studies, post-marketing surveillance and registry in line with marketing strategy
- Liaise with regulatory authorities in the U.S.
- Advise management colleagues regarding product development priorities
- Design marketing and sales support material (print and web)
The position is reporting directly to the CEO. Office location will be in the New York region. Extensive travel is to be expected.
